Delta Fluidpower is a privately-owned company, located in Central Queensland, Australia. We design and build control systems and hydraulic solutions for the mining, agriculture and construction industries.
Our focus is on designing and building safe, reliable, time efficient, electro-hydraulic controls and systems, that help to reduce downtime and improve reliability with ease of diagnosis, whilst ensuring the safety of all personnel and equipment.
As our first product to market, we have developed a Dual Input Flow Meter Assembly (D.I.F.M.A.). The unit is a safe, compact, accurate, remote controlled flow testing unit, which does away with the need for personnel to work in close vicinity to high pressure, high flow rates, whilst providing a fast, accurate and repeatable flow testing function.
The DIFMA is an example of Australian innovation and design, springing from a need for better practices and higher safety standards… not to mention, the data reporting capabilities from the DIFMA’s control system are very impressive!
Who Are We?
Ben Ellis and Travis Key are the founders and co-directors of Delta Fluidpower Pty Ltd. The two have over 30 years combined experience in the mining industry, including underground gold, iron ore and open cut coal mining. Both are trade qualified Diesel Fitters, hold Certificates IV in Engineering (Fluid Power) and Danfoss Plus +1 Advanced Developer Certificates. Ben also holds a second trade certificate in Auto-Electrical and has two years experience in Maintenance Engineering Consultancy. They have many years experience in breakdown work on a wide range of mining equipment and are highly experienced on Hitachi Large Mining Excavators, Sandvik, Atlas Copco and Terex Reedrills.
Ben and Travis have a special interest in mobile hydraulic and electronic control systems, and a strong desire to find solutions for smarter and safer work environments.
Delta Fluidpower is based in Central Queensland, Australia and travel wherever is necessary to assist clients in any way they can.
